About the Event
Where are the women in the Castro? Right here at Divas & Drinks! Join us at this fabulous monthly party for queer women and their allies, co-presented by the San Francisco Bay Times and The Academy SF.
This month, let's give it up for the Stonewall Generation, which has been disturbing the peace since 1969! Thanks to their dedication and bravery, countless LGBTQ individuals have been inspired to stand proud and unashamed, making significant strides towards equity and social justice.
Join us to honor Dr. Marcy Adelman, a pioneer in the field of LGBTQ aging; Kelly Dearman, the Executive Director of the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services; and former state senator, assemblymember, and San Francisco supervisor Mark Leno; and numerous other state and local leaders who are working to improve LGBTQ seniors' lives. Multiple music guests—to be announced soon!—will be in the house, along with DJ Rockaway, fresh from Olivia's 50th anniversary at Cabo. Drag legend Donna Sachet will be your emcee for the evening, with the Bacardà team whipping up handcrafted cocktails and mocktails.
With June just a month away, come toast to Dr. Adelman and other seniors and allies who are among the architects of Pride!
