    Come learn all about the essentials of photography in this 4-hour workshop led by Sara Cooper of onelove. From equipment basics, rules of composition, lighting, tips for better photos, and knowing the language, you will walk away feeling empowered on your journey to being a photography master!

Academy Homeroom offers interactive courses as part of our mission to highlight the community and culture of our neighborhood. Courses are regularly-scheduled events designed to be fun and engaging. They are open to anyone in the community who wishes to enroll.*

Whether it is figure drawing, bartending or exploring San Francisco's unique history, Academy Homeroom courses always offer a chance to explore and meet new people.

If you have a question or a suggestion for a Homeroom event, please let us know. Courses are generally free to Members, but general enrollment costs can be found in the listing for each class.
