About the Event

Patrick Batt has worn many hats: from managing Chicago’s legendary Gold Coast bar and the original San Franciso Eagle, his early involvement with DRUMMER magazine, to running his much beloved AutoErotica store in the Castro.

Join us for a night of conversation and artifacts as we share stories of San Francisco leather life in the 1980’s.

AutoErotica, gay owned and operated, located in the heart of the world-famous Castro district, is both a living museum of LGBTQ history as well as a retail shop selling items of interest to those interested in saving that history. It may well be the last place of its kind of anywhere dedicated to keeping LGBTQ history alive and accessible.
