Academy Homeroom: Beyond Tequila—The Lesser-known spirits of Mexico
Join us for a special Academy Homeroom, led by mixologist Vyvyan, where she'll introduce you to fantastic agave-based spirits you've likely never heard of—truly "beyond tequila." Tickets include seated class & tasting.
Time & Location
Aug 13, 2022, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
The Academy, 2166 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA
About the Event
Everyone knows the mezcals made from the Blue Webber agave, commonly known as 'Tequila', but Mexico has a rich tradition of exciting, terroir-driven spirits that most Americans have never heard of. Join us as we sample exciting sugarcane distillates, obscure agave varietals, and a mezcal infused with fruit, herbs, and....chicken breast?!?!
