Academy Homeroom: Cooking for St. Patrick's Day

CLASS INFORMATION

A classic pan sauce should be in your repertoire. Tonight’s version will be a Pan Seared Steak in a Guinness Sauce, paired with Colcannon, the perfect pairing of mash potatoes and green cabbage. Chef David will even pour warming Irish Coffees, and leave you with recipes to reproduce your own Irish feast!

All attendees will get a small plate to sample, along with an Irish Coffee, and recipes to take home.

ABOUT CHEF GROFF

After graduating from both the California Culinary Academy and Tante Marie’s Cooking School, David taught cooking classes and cooked at Zuni Cafe and Gioia in San Francisco. He has worked as a personal chef, caterer, and volunteered with the Bay Area’s largest fish supplier before managing all of the public classes at San Francisco Cooking School, instructing a majority of the classes. David currently is a traveling chef instructing virtual and in-person classes from his company, Mealticketsf.

BEVERAGES

Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase. Academy Social Club Members receive certain beverages complimentary. Ask your bartender or host for details.

CLUB INFORMATION

The Club will also be open during regular hours (Thursdays 5-11pm) for Members and their guests who do not wish to attend or do not have a ticket for this event. For reservations, click here.
