ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vic Wong is a jazz guitarist in San Francisco specializing in swing music of the 1930's. His playing is defined by tasteful, melodic leads and minimalist Freddie Green-style rhythm to keep the band swingin'. A student of all music, his influences also span from rock, ska, reggae, funk, soul, and hip-hop. Vic is an in-demand player who runs his own popular weekly jazz jam sessions, released over 150 videos of his "morning coffee sessions" series during 2020/ 2021, and performs with The Cottontails, The Alcatraz Islanders, France Nero, Project Pimento among many other ensembles. Joe Kyle Jr. on upright bass is in-demand performer and session player known throughout the land for his superb feel, musical agility, adaptability and propensity for slap bass and tragicomic asides. He plays in bands The Cottontails, Howell Devine, The Way backs, Mitch Polzak, Americano Social Club, Lee Velinsky Trio among others. https://www.paniquejazz.com/
