Academy of Wine: Celebrating Black Voices in Wine - 8:30pm

This outdoor event is available for Academy Members and invited guests. Tickets are required (1 ticket per admission) for this limited-capacity event with assigned seating. We are presenting two seatings for this event, at 6pm & 8:30pm. Each seating is listed separately on the calendar.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join Wine Director Michael Wells for this very special edition of our Academy of Wine series: Celebrating Black Voices in Wine. Representatives from Kwaya Cellars of Frey Wines, and Theopolis Vineyards will be pouring curated selections from their respective wineries. The tasting will be moderated by guest sommelier Josh Decolongon along with Michael Wells. Proceeds of this event will be benefiting The 280 Project, an endeavor led by Christopher Renfro to bring accessibility in wine and sustainable agriculture to the San Francisco Bay Area.

COST

$24 for Academy Members; $40 all non-member invited guests.

BEVERAGES

Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase that are not part of the tasting. Academy Social Club Members receive certain beverages complimentary. Ask your bartender or host for details.
