ABOUT THE SHOW
Curated by Baylee Lewis Van, Subject Object Setting showcases “The New Still Life.” A new take on an old artistic tradition, the artists use objects, settings, and the placement of the object within the setting to create emotional intimacy and narrative. Subject Object Setting innovates the form of the Still Life by depicting non-traditional subjects or depicting subjects in non-traditional compositions and mediums.
