About the Event

Where are the women in The Castro? Right here at Divas & Drinks! Come celebrate at this monthly party for queer women and allies, co-hosted with the San Francisco Bay Times

Leslie Sbrocco since 2005 has hosted the popular KQED program Check, Please! Bay Area that has featured more openly LGBTQ guests and business owners than any other locally-produced major market series. Sbrocco's welcoming, nonjudgmental approach presents diversity in every respect to viewers in a powerful yet unthreatening way; all are welcome at her table. That

same warmth and openness come through her national series, 100 Days, Drinks, Dishes, and Destinations, and other television work.

Now she is our guest, for a well-deserved sainting by the honoring not only her LGBTQ+ advocacy but also her efforts in the fight against cancer. As a stage-4 colorectal cancer thriver, Sbrocco dedicates significant time to charitable work to help others impacted by cancer.…
