About the Event
Hosted at The Academy SF, this Justice Mixer & Strategy Session—co-hosted by the Transgender District and Gabriel Espinosa-Ramos, immigration attorney and TV legal analyst—unites advocates, organizers, artists, and legal professionals to expand access to justice for LGBTQ+ immigrants in the Bay Area.
With nonprofit legal providers stretched thin, many low-income LGBTQ+ immigrants face court proceedings without counsel, heightening risks of detention, removal, and violence. Recent ICE actions in Minneapolis and the worsening Venezuelan crisis, affecting millions of Venezuelans in the U.S., have made this need even more urgent.
The event invites corporate legal teams, Big Law, and mid-sized firms to offer volunteer attorney support and resources to trusted nonprofits operating beyond capacity.
